## Section 1<\/p>\n

The Korea Green Foundation announced on the 21st that the 23rd Seoul International Eco Film Festival, hosted by the Foundation, successfully held a press conference holding at the Korea Green Foundation Rachel Carson Hall in Jung-gu, Seoul, ahead of its opening on June 5th. This year’s film festival will deeply explore the contemporary topic, where climate crisis and AI civilization intersect, through a cinematic lens, and is expected to awaken sense of responsibility regarding the environment that future generations will inherit. Furthermore, by newly introducing guest programmer and youth programmer systems, it further expands the perspective of viewing films through the public’s eyes. The event was attended by Organizing Committee Chairperson Choi Yul, Co-Executive Chairperson Lee Mi-kyung, and Programmer Jang Young-ja. Julian Quintart, a Belgian broadcaster well-known from ‘Non-Summit’ and an environmental activist, emceed the event, introducing the opening film and screenings of the film festival,<\/p>\n

The 23rd Seoul International Eco Film Festival is expected to stimulate in-depth discourse and public participation in environmental issues through the medium of film, and raise important questions about the future of the environment we will face in the age of AI.<\/p>\n
